Dear Actiefan, 

This letter accompanies your official Actiefan Action card. Keep it safe! Because you’ll need it when you have to prove you’re a Actiefan.

Het Actiefonds has been supporting the worldwide fight for a better world since 1968. Across the decades we have supported the anti-nuclear power movement and the squatters of the ‘80’s, collected radio’s for resistance groups in El Salvador and Eritrea, assisted in the campaign to get Heineken out of Birma, and in the early 00’s we fought for the rights of undocumented people. As social movements multiplied, more and more different kinds of projects are supported by us. They vary from actions around anti-racism, feminism, climate activism, the struggle for indigenous rights, worker’s rights, and social rights, anywhere in the world. 

Because you have become an official Actiefan, you are now helping us support activists across the world. You are supporting the people fighting for a world without exploitation and violence, where the power lies with the people, and everyone can live in freedom and safety, without the planet being exhausted in the process.

With this structural donation you are following those who, in 1968, already believed that a radical redistribution  of wealth and power is necessary for a better world. You are now part of a growing group of people joining forces to ensure that social movements can be supported and do not lose their momentum due to a lack of resources.
